2.2 Swimming in Air

The practice of swimming in air connects you to earth energy and to heavenly energy. You should be rooted to the earth, but swim in the air and be as light as a cloud.

The ward offs should be big, circular and flowing movements utilising grippy chi to get hold and grip your partner’s energy and uproot them.

3.23 The Fan

The movements of the fan allow you to connect your energy to cosmic energy. The lightness and softness of the circles, you must connect your energy to heavenly energy.

4.1 Loose Gripping

Daoist theory says that energy moves in circles, so if you use the principle of left to go right, then that should demonstrate the veracity of that theory.
